The stakes were high, as the Salone del Mobile attracts top designers, architects, and design enthusiasts from all over the world, making it a key moment to showcase excellence, innovation, and attention to detail.
The damage, which was visible and spread across the entire metal surface, was due to an uncontrolled reaction of the original protective layer. This reaction had led to rapid oxidation in environments that weren’t yet perfectly stable.
